Technology Transfer, Inc.

Technology Transfer, Inc. (“TTI”) provides pocket-sized electrocardiograph monitors for use in monitoring patients’ heart rhythms. The PAM® (Personal Arrhythmia Monitor) device is designed for ease-of-use without the need for gels, patches, or wires. The monitor can be used by health care personnel and veterinary doctors in the office, on rounds, or in-home heathcare to quickly and cost-effectively monitor heartbeat, and aid in patient assessment.

TTI needed:

  • additional financial resources;
  • a more complete marketing assessment and plan; and
  • facilities to house their assembly
    operations.

Pittsburgh Gateways Corporation assisted TTI in a marketing assessment to help improve product features. Gateways refined the company’s marketing plan, and connected TTI to investor resources. Gateways introduced TTI to personnel and facilities at Purdue University’s Research Park

  • TTI incorporated feedback from the survey of
    medical professionals, that was conducted by
    Gateways, into product feature improvements.
  • TTI also obtained additional financing from
    investors.
  • With Gateways assistance, TTI relocated their
    operations to Purdue Research Park.
